Citizens of the World Charter School - Los Angeles is seeking Enrichment Elective Instructors to lead engaging after-school programs for TK–8 students. You will plan and deliver 8–10 sessions, each 1 to 1.5 hours, over 8–10 weeks, focusing on academics, recreation, and STEAM.

The role emphasizes safety, social-emotional support, family engagement, and collaboration with staff and volunteers. Flexibility and community-mindedness are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Organized self-starter with ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Lead or teach groups of children and inspire youth.
• Experience interacting with diverse communities in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in after-school electives in academics, recreation, and STEAM.
• Plan 8–10 sessions of 1–1.5 hours over 8–10 weeks.
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment; support social-emotional development.
• Encourage family involvement and build positive relationships with staff and volunteers.
• Contribute to school culture by motivating faculty, administrators, parents, and volunteers.
• Organize schedules and manage program data; stay alert to keep students safe.
• Participate in meetings and maintain classrooms, field, and equipment.
