Job summary

ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking an Out-of-School Coordinator in Port Saint Lucie, FL to oversee after-school, respite, and summer programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate activities, and help families access educational supports within a supportive team.

The role emphasizes scheduling, program quality, community engagement, and collaboration with schools and families to empower participants toward greater independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of college, vocational, or technical training preferred, or related experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, implement, and assist in all Adult and Youth community support programs.
• Provide care and supervision to individuals during community outings and ARC programs.
• Oversee children and youth programs, including After School, Respite, and Summer Camp, with age-appropriate activities.
• Ensure accurate scheduling and supervision of the After School and Respite Staff.
• Ensure Educational programs are geared to the needs of each individual and their families.
• Represent the organization at IEP & Support Plan meetings as required.
• Enter all required information into the CSC SAMIS system.
