Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking part-time coaches for after-school programs held at local Bay Area schools. Shifts run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with about one hour per class and optional extra 30 minutes pre-care. Pay is $50–$65 per session, with all equipment provided.

Candidates should enjoy working with children and be reliable, with transportation and eligibility to work in the U.S. Training or shadowing is provided, and positions cover tennis, pickleball, volleyball, dance, yoga

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Live locally and available for in-person work.
• Coaching or sports experience preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must complete TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Submit a photo and short biography for the website.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Work Type

Part-time (2–5 hours per week)

Pay: $50–$65 per session

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.

We do have openings for After School Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball, Dance, Yoga and Basketball.
