Job summary

Lunch Bunch Co. seeks a Level 1 Enrichment Teacher to lead culinary-based enrichment programs after school, guiding students through cooking activities and life-skill development. You’ll prepare materials, support instruction, and help create a safe, engaging kitchen learning space.

The role emphasizes reliability, initiative, and the ability to manage groups of children in a fast-paced setting. Opportunities for progression exist to higher teacher levels.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a leadership, instructional, or support role.
• Ability to engage a group of students in a hands-on environment.
• Strong communication skills and high reliability.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve continually.
• Must pass a background check and LiveScan; TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Review lesson plans weekly in advance.
• Watch weekly training videos and attend pre-semester trainings.
• Prepare classroom materials and food efficiently.
• Manage student behavior, engagement, and classroom flow.
• Teach kitchen safety and basic cooking skills.
• Submit feedback after each class.
