Lunch Bunch in Culver City invites a Level 1 Enrichment Teacher to join our after-school cooking programs. You will lead hands-on lessons, supervise student behavior, and help prepare materials.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to manage groups of children, and eager to learn from feedback. This part-time role starts at $20 per hour and offers growth into higher teaching levels. Schedule typically after school 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, with classes ranging 2–6 hours and weekly continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading groups of children in an instructional setting.
• Ability to engage students in hands-on activities andCooking related tasks.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Review lesson plans weekly in advance.
• Watch weekly recorded training videos.
• Attend pre-semester teacher training sessions.
• Communicate proactively with the Enrichments Manager or supervisors as needed for support.
• Prepare classroom materials and food efficiently.
• Distribute materials or handouts before class ends.
• Manage student behavior, engagement, and classroom flow.
• Teach and reinforce kitchen safety and basic cooking skills.
• Report in-class incidents promptly using incident reports.
• Submit feedback after each class.
