Job summary

LIFT Enrichment is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Cooking Instructor to bring hands-on cooking to students in Title I schools. No professional chef experience required; we provide training and support as you lead engaging activities after school.

As a Chef Teacher, you’ll supervise groups of 15–20 kids, teach healthy recipes from our curriculum, handle setup and cleanup, and get paid for prep time, teaching, and travel through mileage reimbursement and paid training.

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience in teaching or working with kids are preferred.
• No professional chef experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 15–20 students through hands-on cooking activities.
• Teach fun, healthy recipes using provided curriculum.
• Introduce kids to basic cooking, nutrition, and kitchen safety.
• Keep students engaged and involved during activities.
• Manage setup, cooking, and cleanup for workshops.
• Grocery shop and prep ingredients as needed.
• Transport program supplies to the school.
