Job summary

Shakopee Public Schools seeks a Pearson Saber Connection Supervision Paraeducator for fall 2026, 6.75 hours before/after school at the Saber Connection program. Work with preschool students in Saber Connection, before/after morning preschool, hours on non school days.

You will supervise children in classroom, cafeteria, gym and playground, maintain staff-to-student ratios, assist with activities, and help create a welcoming environment for families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in community education or school-age care preferred.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor.
• Experience at a site level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise large and small groups of children in activities across settings.
• Work with preschool students in the Saber Connection program.
• Maintain staff-to-student ratios and report concerns.
• Create a welcoming environment for families.
• Document incidents on correct forms.
