Job summary

Tahoe Expedition Academy & Tahoe Summer Camps is seeking an After School Club Instructor to plan, organize, communicate, and instruct engaging after school programming for assigned clubs.

You will plan sessions, provide equipment, teach students in a positive way, mitigate risk, and work with the Activities Director to meet programming goals. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience or related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct engaging after school club sessions and related events.
• Provide all necessary equipment and supplies for best experiences and outcomes.
• Teach students in a positive way to cultivate learning, confidence and engagement.
• Mitigate risk by following best practices and understanding student health needs.
• Coordinate with Activities Director or Manager to meet programming goals.
• Communicate club schedules and logistics to students and parents in advance.
