Job summary

Christ Community Lutheran School seeks after-school assistants to supervise and engage with children in Charger Club or ECE Aftercare. Roles can span the full year or a single season, offering flexibility for students with sports or extracurriculars.

Assistants work roughly 3:15/3:30pm to 5:30pm, creating a safe, fun environment and supporting children through activities and homework help. Prior babysitting or tutoring experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Ages 16+ preferred, but may be younger with demonstrated maturity and experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must align with the CCLS mission and faith statement.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children during aftercare hours (approx. 3:15pm - 5:30pm).
• Engaging with children in activities such as games, crafts, outdoor play, and homework help.
• Modeling and demonstrating the CCLS core values: Christ-centered, people-focused, excellence-driven, future-directed.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
• Communicating with parents and school staff as needed.
