Job Summary

The After‑School Camp Instructor is a hands‑on role that leads students and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. This instructor works with kids in grades K‑5 in fun and engaging activities, maintaining a 1:10/12 staff‑to‑student ratio, and ensuring children have fun, stay safe, and build confidence. The instructor directly provides the i9 Sports Experience and drives a positive youth sports culture on the field or in the gym.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on‑site with equipment and ready to lead out the day's activities.
• Camp will take place at Silicon Valley Academy (Sunnyvale).
• Lead simple warm‑up and activity sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Organize and lead fun games, scrimmages, and sports‑based activities for Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, and Kick Ball.
• Ensure all kids are signed in and safely signed out each session.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Sport‑specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self‑starter; can work independently
• Ability to work a variety of sports.
• Available Mon‑Thur, from January to May 2026 (Time: 2:45‑4:45 pm)
• Must be able to pass a Background Check and have reliable transportation.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
