Qualifications

• Must be able to maintain order and safety on the bus to allow the driver to concentrate on driving.
• Demonstrates patience and understanding; offers support and direction to children with behavioral difficulties.
• Provides physical assistance to students who have difficulty climbing on or off the bus.
• Enforces school discipline code on the bus and reports infractions to teachers and principal.
• Maintains confidentiality in discussing special education students.
• Works amiably with bus drivers, teachers, aides, parents, etc.
• Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance patterns.

Responsibilities
