Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools in Thornton, CO is seeking an Site Aide to assist with BASE programs after school. You will supervise children, support the site director, and help with activities, safety, and discipline while promoting a positive environment for students.

The role requires a minimum age of 16, a background check, and completion of required trainings (CPR/First Aid and others) within the first 30 days. Part-time, 12 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Criminal background check and Child Abuse and Neglect Record Check required.
• CPR and First Aid, Standard Precautions, Pre-Service trainings within 30 days of hire.
• May require annual continuing education lessons related to child care.

Responsibilities

• Assist site directors and leaders to supervise and guide students during after-school care and activities.
• Help maintain student safety, manage behavior, and communicate with parents and staff.
• Open/close the building, prepare snacks, and assist with field trips when needed.
• Record attendance, check IDs for pick-ups, and support basic classroom duties.
• Support creation of engaging activities and participate in supervision during transitions.
