AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Fairfield-Suisun is hiring a Part-Time After School Assistant Program Director to support a dynamic after-school program. You will help lead a team, coordinate activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children.

Requirements include a degree, being at least 21, and flexibility to work Monday–Friday, 8 am–6 pm. The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff, parents, and the Area Manager to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate special accommodation requests for students with staff, Area Manager and parents.
• Track and report student progress while using accommodations.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality care, learning, and excitement for children.
• Train staff on nurturing children and igniting curiosity.
• Foster caring, family-oriented relationships with staff, children, parents and schools.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests.

Pay: $21 per hour

Location: Fairfield Suisun Schools

Schedule: Must be available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm (Work schedule and hours are based on attendance) No weekends!

As an AlphaBEST Assistant Program Director, you'll be trained to do the following:

• Help with coordinating special accommodation request for students. You will collaborate with school staff, the Area Manager, and parents to decide on the appropriate accommodation plan.
• You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring each student's progress while they utilize special accommodations, and for reporting that progress to all involved parties.
• Lead a fun and dedicated team of professionals to deliver the highest quality care, learning, and excitement to our children.
• Train AlphaBEST staff on how to nurture children and ignite their sense of wonder.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
