Job summary

Resurgence Hall in Georgia is seeking a part-time After School and Recess Associate to support scholars after school hours. The role includes planning and leading an aftercare program for grades K-8, supervising recess, and creating a safe, engaging learning environment until families pick up.

• Accept and incorporate feedback and coaching from administrative staff;
• Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by the Director of Operations and School Service

Resurgence Hall hosts a daily aftercare program exclusively for Resurgence Hall scholars. The aftercare program consists of supervising scholars during outdoor recess time, leading enrichment activities during after care, and monitoring scholars during quiet reading time as they wait for their families to pick them up.

Qualifications/Certification- High School Diploma Or Equivalent And Above.

Physical Requirements-

This job is physically demanding and may require standing and walking for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects up to 40lbs.

Prior Experience-

At least 1 year prior experience teaching, coaching, or working with elementary or middle school aged children and experience teaching in a low-income community.

Hours

12pm - 5pm, or 1pm-6pm Monday - Friday with additional mandatory paid hours for professional development

Compensation

This is a part-time position at $20 per hour
