Job summary

Manhattan Youth is seeking several part-time After-school Teaching Assistants to join our Middle School team for the 2026-2027 school year. You will help deliver programs across sports, STEM, arts, and leadership activities, supporting students in a dynamic after-school environment.

Role emphasizes punctuality, reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Shifts run 2:00-3:00 to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with schedules varying by school.

Responsibilities

• Greet students, take attendance and supervise during transitions.
• Assist students in recreational and/or sports activities.
• Prepare activities and materials for daily schedule with Activity Specialist.
• Maintain open communication with Site Director and staff.
• Ensure safety of students during activities and address emergencies.
• Participate in professional development and work toward leading classes independently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
