Job summary

QXO is seeking a Production Manager in the Columbia, SC area to oversee the location’s production department, including mirrors, shelving, shower doors, and bathroom accessories. You will direct schedules, develop installation teams, and drive customer satisfaction while supporting the Branch Manager.

You will also lead HR functions, improve performance and profitability, and coordinate with field installers. Local travel and a flexible schedule are required for this safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes
• 4+ years of increasing responsibility and managerial experience; prefer construction/installation/trades
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

Job Description

• As Production Manager, you will have full responsibility for all aspects of the location’s production department to include mirrors, shelving, shower doors, and bathroom accessories.
• You will be responsible for visiting work sites, directing and coordinating production schedules, developing an install team, ensuring customer satisfaction and soliciting new business.
• Support the Branch Manager and be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.
• Manage a team and monitor the processes and procedures for job activities performed by the installers.
• Responsible for all aspects of human resources which include interviewing, hiring, onboarding performance management and development.
• Solicit new business at required margin levels while maintaining existing business.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• 4+ years of increasing responsibility and managerial experience; prefer construction/installation/trades.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred).
