Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for after-hours shifts in pediatrics and family medicine. This part-time, on-site role involves documenting care, administering medications, patient prepping, and supporting the nursing team during evening and weekend hours.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas LVN license, current BLS CPR, and has experience in ambulatory or acute care settings. Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
Experience: Prior ambulatory or acute care setting preferred.
Licenses: Active Texas LVN license and current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Document status, care provided, and communications with patients and providers.
Administer medications and injections under physician orders.
Prepare patients for exams and take vital signs.
Perform diagnostic tests and manage room readiness.
Maintain equipment and supplies, follow infection control protocols.
Support nursing team and provide patient education as needed.
