Job summary

Agape Care Group in Warrensburg, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurse for a full-time, salaried position covering on-call hours from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday. You will advocate for patients, coordinate with families and the care team, and collaborate with our 24/7 RN triage department to ensure quality care.

Applicants must hold a current RN license, have 2+ years of clinical nursing experience (hospice preferred), and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide on-call hospice nursing after hours from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday.
Advocate for patients and communicate with the patient, family, and the hospice care team.
Work with our 24/7 RN triage department and local hospice team to ensure quality care.
