PetVet Care Centers is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Emergency Veterinarian for Animal Emergency Center in Memphis, TN. You will join a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff providing high-quality after-hours emergency care.

Qualified candidates have a DVM/VMD, state license, and DEA registration (or ability to obtain). Experience in emergency medicine and strong communication skills are essential for building relationships with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Veterinarian degree from an accredited college
• Current State Veterinary License
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
• 1+ years of experience in emergency practice
• Excellent diagnostic, surgical and dental skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical workups
• Client communication and education
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols
• Promoting teamwork and staff efficiency
• Attend daily rounds and participate in practice management updates
