Job summary

DCS Air & Space Technology (AST) Sector is seeking an AFSIM Modeling and Simulation Specialist to join our MS&A team in Reston, VA. You will build military models in AFSIM, script behaviors, and develop operational scenarios to support DoD decision making.

Required: U.S. citizenship, TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a BS in a technical field, and 2+ years in modeling and simulation, plus strong English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical discipline; at least 2 years hands-on modeling and simulation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
• Scripting or programming experience.
• Ability to travel and work well in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Construct military models and entities in the AFSIM environment.
• Develop and implement scripted actions/interactions in AFSIM.
• Create and enhance MS&A scenarios representing actions and interactions.
• Support MS&A study plans and analyze AFSIM results for decision makers.
• Collaborate with pilots, technologists, and study leads to define requirements.
