Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks a leasing agent in Chicago, IL to drive occupancy, greet leads, tours and pre-qualify applicants.

You will handle the full lease process, follow up and collaborate with the Property Manager to meet targets while delivering exceptional customer service. Essentially you become the face of the community, manage resident data, assist with marketing plans, and ensure compliance with Affordable Housing and LIHTC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High-school education or above.
• At least one year of leasing experience in affordable housing preferred.
• Strong sales, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, pre-qualify, build rapport, follow up and close leases.
• Conduct tours and market the neighborhood and property features.
• Process applications and maintain accurate data and reports.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans.
• Schedule move-in orientations and perform follow ups within set timelines.
• Adhere to AFHMP and ensure professional conduct at all times.
