Leasing Consultant

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property.

Responsibilities

• Property Leasing and Administration
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Show, lease, greet and qualify prospective residents; conduct tours and sign leases
• Close leases by coordinating appointments, generating leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and follow-up
• Complete all leasing paperwork prior to move-in
• Assist with lease audits, unit walkthroughs, and turn processes
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours
• Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, maintain closing ratios, and achieve leasing goals
• Perform administrative tasks as needed
• Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction
• Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, newsletters)
• Support general upkeep and cleanliness of office, common areas, and model
• Marketing & Outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach
• Review market surveys/analyses to generate ideas and plans
• Maintain knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey
• Customer & Resident Relations: provide excellent customer service and monitor response times
• Present a positive image of the community to support objectives and public recognition
• Enforce community policies as directed by supervision

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements

• Regular movement about the worksite; ability to communicate and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and similar structures; ability to remain standing or seated for extended periods
• Ability to work in various environments, including tight spaces; may lift or move objects up to 25 lbs

At Asset Living, compensation decisions are based on factors including skills, experience, and certifications. Salary Range

$19 per hour to $21 per hour
