Job summary

Cascade Management is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of HUD/RD or Tax Credit properties in Portland, OR. The role includes leasing, collections, marketing, resident services, and staff supervision to maximize financial performance.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining property conditions, and timely reporting. A High School diploma or GED with 1–3 years in affordable housing is preferred; strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years Tax Credit, HUD and/or affordable housing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret notices, tenant documents and regulations.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of HUD/RD or Tax Credit properties.
• Coordinate leasing, collections, marketing and resident services.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain organized resident files.
• Manage staff and maintain property appearance and safety.
• Respond to resident inquiries and maintain high occupancy through outreach.
