Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Project Analyst to partner with East Region leadership within Affluent Wealth Management, delivering insights, project leadership, and operational support to drive strategic initiatives and enhance performance.

The role emphasizes executing cross‑functional projects, creating executive‑level reporting, and identifying efficiency improvements while collaborating with technology, operations, risk, and business partners. Strong PM and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
  • Develop executive‑level reporting and presentations that summarize project progress, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that increase efficiency and enhance the client and employee experience.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and track accountability to ensure successful execution.
  • Analyze business performance data, trends, and KPIs to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Support organizational change initiatives through communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and adoption monitoring.
  • Create and maintain project plans, dashboards, process documentation, and governance materials.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential barriers, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and business line partners to implement business initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and business transformation efforts as assigned.
  • Conduct benchmarking and industry research to identify best practices and emerging trends.

Job Description

The Project Analyst role serves as a trusted partner to our East Region Executive and other business line leaders within Affluent Wealth Management by providing insights, project leadership, and operational support that drive strategic initiatives, improve business performance, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically three to five years of related experience
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Experience creating executive communications, presentations, and business performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives, process improvement, change management, or organizational transformation efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership audiences.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction while managing competing priorities.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $66,640.00 - $78,400.00
