Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners Llc is seeking a Board Certified Aesthetician to join our Florida clinic. You will schedule cosmetic consultations, assist doctors during procedures, and thoroughly explain treatments, risks, and expected results to patients.

The role requires maintaining a clean treatment room, educating clients on skincare products, and managing inventories and supplies. A valid Texas aesthetician certification is noted, with lasers/peels experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certified aesthetician in Texas.
• Experience with lasers and IPL machines preferred.
• Experience with microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
• Computer literate and able to operate standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultations.
• Be available for patient consultation at request of physician.
• Perform cosmetic procedures as directed by physician.
• Explain treatments, expected results and risks; obtain consent signatures.
• Educate patients about services and skincare products; assist in product selection.
• Follow up with patients after treatment; document treatment information.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area; sterilize equipment daily.
• Order supplies; maintain inventory and equipment.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultationsBe available for patient consultation at request of physicianPerform cosmetic procedures as directed by physicianRoom patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results and potential risks, obtain patient signature on appropriate consentsEducate patients about our services and skincare productsAssist patients in skincare products selectionFollow up with patients after treatmentDocument patient and treatment informationMaintain work area in a clean and orderly conditionWash and sterilize supplies, instruments and equipment dailySet up, clean and disinfect aesthetician room dailyOrder cosmetic supplies and products through approved vendorsResponsible for maintaining inventory and ordering of products and samplesResponsible for maintaining equipmentOther duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Board Certified Aesthetician in the State of TexasExperience: Experience preferred.Other Requirements: Laser Hair Removal CertificationPerformance Requirements:Experience with Lasers and IPL machinesExperience with microdermabrasion and chemical peelsComputer literateEquipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted medical office environment.Physical Requirements: Must possess the manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and ipad; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries.
