Job summary

JECT, a medical aesthetics practice in New York, is seeking an experienced aesthetician who is passionate about skin care. You will provide professional skincare services to clients, perform facials, peels, and other treatments, and collaborate with the provider team to tailor plans.

The ideal candidate holds a valid state aesthetician license, has 2+ years of licensed experience, strong communication, and a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as an aesthetician.
• 2+ years of experience as a licensed aesthetician.
• Experience in a med spa or medical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their skin type and concerns.
• Develop personalized skincare plans and treatment recommendations based on client needs and preferences.
• Perform facials, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, and massage.
• Administer peels and other advanced skincare treatments.
• Collaborate with our Provider team to create specific treatment plans for clients.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Educate clients on products to enhance their procedures and outcomes.
• Maintain client records and track treatment progress.
• Follow all sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure safety.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and products.
• Ad hoc duties as defined by the business.

The Role

We are looking for an aesthetician who is passionate about skin care. The aesthetician is responsible for providing professional and skilled skincare services to clients. We are seeking candidates who have a thorough knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology, product ingredients, and the latest skincare techniques and trends.

What You'll Own

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their skin type and concerns.

Who You Are

• Valid state license to practice as an aesthetician
• 2+ years prior experience working as a licensed aesthetician
• Prior work in a med spa or medical setting is a plus
• Self-starter and team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments
• Sales skills and the ability to recommend products effectively
