Job summary

Coachlight Clinic in Ankeny, IA is seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Injector to deliver personalized treatment plans, including neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, and laser procedures, with a strong focus on safety and patient comfort.

You will maintain meticulous patient records, provide pre- and post-treatment guidance, educate patients about services and skincare, and collaborate with Des Moines Plastic Surgery’s team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Iowa.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nurse Injector in a MedSpa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting is preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical or bedside hospital setting is required.
• Expertise in administering injectables, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate with the medical team.
• Meticulous attention to detail in treatment administration, patient assessment, and documentation.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Neurotoxin injections (e.g., Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers, laser treatments, and other advanced aesthetic procedures with precision and expertise.
• Ensure patient satisfaction through consistent follow-up care, maintaining clear communication and addressing post-treatment concerns to foster long-term relationships and repeat visits.
• Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient needs and goals, providing tailored skincare recommendations, advising on MedSpa services, and suggesting retail skincare products.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, including treatment details, consent forms, photographs, and follow-up care, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients regarding medical care, pre-treatment, and post-treatment protocols, ensuring informed decisions.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements; advise management on needed actions.
• Accept full responsibility and accountability for excellent patient care and professional ethics.
• Promote the clinic’s services and values to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our expert providers operate under the medical direction of Dr. David Robbins of Des Moines Plastic Surgery, the only quadruple board-certified plastic surgeon in Iowa.

We are looking for and Aesthetic Nurse to join our fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinic located in Ankeny, IA.

As an Aesthetic Nurse Injector, you will provide personalized treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for our patients. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for enhancing patients' natural beauty.

• Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients regarding medical care, pre-treatment, and post-treatment protocols, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plans.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Comply with clinic policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Accept full responsibility, authority, and accountability for providing excellent patient care, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice.

• Monitor inventory levels of injectable products, skincare products, and other supplies. Assist with ordering, stocking, and ensuring products are stored properly.
• Ensure treatment rooms are well-maintained, clean, and organized, adhering to infection control and sanitation standards.

Work Schedule:

Monday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00-6:00am

Saturday: 9:00am-1pm (One Saturday a month)
