Aesthetic Body Specialist

Location: San Francisco - Presidio Heights

Department: Medical

Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Provide client consultations and perform body treatments tailored to each client’s needs and objectives (including but not limited to CoolSculpting, Venus, ReBalance).
• Build our body treatment business; utilize existing client base while building new client base to meet/exceed goals.
• Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations.
• Apply best practices and stay up to date with market trends and techniques for body treatments.
• Suggest and promote retail products and additional services offered at the company.
• Clean and maintain equipment and inventory of products.
• Cross‑sell complementary services available in our facility.
• Keep track of and update client charts; take before and after photos, add notes to charts.
• Attend monthly trainings/meetings.
• Assist in other clinic operations including greeting clients, selling services and light cleaning.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel may be required to other locations for training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of customer service or sales experience required.
• Aesthetician License or Medical Assistant Certification in state of practice preferred but not necessary.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, peers and managers.
• Ability to multi‑task while being attentive to clients and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
• Proficient with email and Word.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Social Media experience a plus.
• Existing clientele a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of:
  • Standing, bending or stooping.
  • Use of hands and arms to touch, handle, feel or control things including but not limited to tools, objects and/or controls.
  • Reaching with hands and arms.
  • Repeating of same movements.
  • Talking and hearing.
• Occasional periods of:
  • Sitting, crawling, kneeling, climbing or balancing.
  • Pushing/Pulling heavy objects and/or machinery.
