Job summary

ConexSmart's technicians play a critical role in the production of complex wire harnesses used in aerospace and defense applications. This position is responsible for ensuring all assemblies meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

This role offers the opportunity to directly support industries that save lives and push the boundaries of technology. Training is provided, but a passion for learning and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in wire harness production, aerospace manufacturing, or a similar field preferred.
• Working knowledge of soldering, wire crimping and testing equipment preferred.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of production to ensure financial and customer requirements are met.
• Demonstrate leadership presence and organizational management.
• Develop strategy to grow technically and manufacture harnesses with higher quality.
• Inspect and identify non-compliant products and processes.
• Support team development and rate manufacturing environment.
• Handle any material types issued to production.
• Track project completion timelines to support on time delivery.
• Ensure manufacturing tools and equipment function properly.
• Create a safe work environment for production teams.
• Support ISO:9001, AS:9100, Lean Manufacturing and Employee Safety initiatives.
