AMETEK Inc. is seeking a Welder with Heat Stake, TIG and EB welding experience for our aerospace manufacturing operations in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will read and interpret aerospace drawings and work in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and on-time shipment.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years’ experience in a weld role or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of general workshop tools, equipment and materials pertaining to welding and the aerospace industries.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings to military and aerospace specifications.

Aufgaben

• Capable of certifying to AWS D17.1.
• Groups IIB, IIIB, IV and VI.
• Material thickness from .003” to .200” in all groups.
• Maintain top quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Ensure products meet industry quality standards.
• Keep a neat and clean work area.
• Initiate and control paperwork for weld jobs to ensure continuity.
• Carry out direct orders from supervisor to achieve shipment commitments.
