Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Albany, OR is seeking an Investing Operator to perform wax mold investing operations on aerospace products. This is a day shift with weekend day shift available, offering growth opportunities within a world-class supplier.

You will set up mixtures, operate dipping equipment, and handle molds, while maintaining safety and quality. A HS diploma or GED is required; prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with pre-employment background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent is required; relevant experience considered.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Must read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Good attendance record is essential.

Responsibilities

• Use a wire wheel grinder to remove ceramic material from handles, bolts, and strongbacks.
• Set up, prepare, and test mixtures for slurry.
• Operate and monitor automatic dipping equipment.
• Clean and grease robot head.
• Load and unload molds from conveyor.
• Cut mesh wire to specifications using a hand shear and mechanical shear.
• Bend metal banding around strongbacks.
• Load and unload product from carts.
