Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with tooling manufacture of aircraft components.
• Hands-on sheet metal fabrication, welding, or machining.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks, with GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Propose, design, fabricate, qualify, and maintain tools to manufacture parts.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize manufacturability.
• Develop manufacturing methods and work instructions for new designs.
• Interface with Quality to ensure tooling meets quality objectives.
• Manage project schedules.
• Document tool designs, processes, and specs.
• Contribute insights to improve processes and products.
• Interface with external suppliers to meet requirements.
