Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Kent, WA is seeking a Tool & Die Machinist to set up and operate both manual and CNC equipment for precision tools and dies used in aerospace manufacturing.

You will interpret blueprints, inspect parts with precision instruments, and ensure quality while following safety standards. Day shift Monday through Thursday, 4:00am–2:30pm, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets manufacturing planning, sketches, blueprints and specs.
• Has basic GD&T knowledge and can apply it to setups.
• Understands proper setup and use of tooling with machines.
• Able to perform shop mathematics for machining tasks.
• May have demonstrated expertise on a single machine or process.

Responsibilities

• Perform well defined setups and non-complex CNC and manual operations.
• Support production with varied machining projects and processes.
• Identify faulty processes and suggest resolutions.
• Interpret instructions, drawings, and schedules accurately.
• Use precision instruments to verify tolerances and quality.
• Document manufacturing planning quantities in the system.
• Demonstrate basic operations to others under supervision.
• Work under direct supervision.
