Blue Origin is seeking skilled welders for aerospace applications in Arlington, Washington. As part of a dedicated team, you will take on tasks involving TIG welding on fuel pumps for the BE-4 engines. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of experience with metals like Inconel and aluminum.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with DC- and AC-TIG welding.
• Knowledge of AWS D17.1 aerospace welding specs preferred.
• Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding aerospace stainless steel and Inconel hardware.
• Support and prepare parts for post-weld inspection processes.
• Communicate with engineers on design concepts and improvements.

Skills

TIG welding metals including stainless steels, aluminum, Inconel alloys

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to use precision hand tools and mechanical tools

Familiarity with personal computers
