Job summary

York Space Systems in Englewood, CO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee, maintain, and service our environmental test hardware, including Data Physics shakers, amplifiers, and chillers. You will work with Structural & Test engineering to safeguard satellite payloads during flight-qualification testing at multiple axes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining aerospace test hardware.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with high-voltage equipment safely.
• U.S. Person capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or TS/SCI).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on shakers, amplifiers, chillers, and related hardware.
• Calibrate data acquisition systems, accelerometers, power bays, and sensors to meet NASA GEVS and MIL-STD-810.
• Lead future equipment repairs with limited outside support.
• Maintain maintenance logs and safety records per aerospace auditing standards.
• Develop a preventive maintenance program including budgeting for spare parts.
• Coordinate with engineering and production for equipment upgrades and installation plans.
