Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Lone Tree, Colorado is seeking a Test Engineer I for SNC Summer 2026 Interns. You will assist in developing and executing basic test plans for aerospace and defense components and systems, ensuring requirements are met and documented.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, record data, calibrate equipment, and support verification and validation activities. This internship offers hands-on testing exposure in ISR, aviation, and security product areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in test engineering or a related role.
• Must be SNC Summer 2026 Intern.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and procedures.
• Perform basic testing and validation of components and systems/sub-systems.
• Record and analyze test data, providing initial reports on test results.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure test requirements are understood and met.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Participate in internal/external meetings and briefs.
