Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a System Test Project Manager to drive test execution of launch vehicle systems in Denver, CO. The role reports to the Airborne Systems and Development Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test leader and requires occasional travel.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, develop test requirements, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while driving continuous process improvements in testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related Engineering experience.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles, requirements verification, and validation methods.
• Understanding of test design, requirements, and operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, trade study management, and risk management.
• Good communicator, extremely organized, able to develop and track schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional project management and integration for test requirement development, test scope, schedules, instrumentation, logistics, test planning, and test house selection.
• Ensure compliance with ULA processes governing test planning and execution; author and review test report summaries, test requirement documents, and SOWs; facilitate release of documents.
• Drive development and technical convergence of test requirements; lead test integration efforts; establish test methods and operational process development.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) with cross-functional teams and communicate outcomes to leadership.
• Manage risks, issues, and opportunities related to the test campaign; verify requirements with customers and support proposals.
• Prepare for and participate in Gate Reviews and TRRs; engage with broader organization to influence testing activities.
