Job summary

GE Aerospace offers an internship/co-op program designed to develop professional and technical skills in aerospace systems and defense. Participants will work on challenging real-world problems, focusing on design, analysis, and testing of aerospace systems for commercial and military applications.

You’ll gain broad exposure from design to hands-on work, with placement aligned to your major, year, and company needs, and with potential pathways to full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) without rounding.
• Enrolled full-time in an accredited engineering program (EE, ECE, CS).
• Willingness to work in the United States; locations include Grand Rapids, MI and Clearwater, FL.
• Reliable transportation is required; some sites lack public transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, design, analysis, and testing of aerospace systems.
• Support engineering projects across engine controls, navigation, and platform systems.
• Prepare for potential full-time positions after graduation via leadership programs or direct hire.
