Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking an Experienced Professional to join the Systems Engineering team within RMS. You will contribute to design solutions for complex engineering problems across the systems/software development life cycle.

You will translate requirements into detailed specifications, develop and test software, and collaborate across disciplines. The position requires a US Citizen and ability to obtain a government security clearance; onsite work with standard 4x10 schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with the development life cycle experience.
• Familiar with systems integration and test practices and test procedure development.
• Experience communicating technical and business priorities at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Systems Engineer in the Enterprise Sustainment Solutions Business area.
• Contribute to design solutions for complex engineering problems across the systems/software development life cycle.
• Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements; plan, conduct, and coordinate systems/software development activities.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug systems/software that solves business/mission problems using logical and mathematical methods.
• Translate high level requirements into detailed systems/software specifications and design documents.
• Apply established standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
