CesiumAstro is seeking a Systems Engineer II to lead the systems engineering activities across the product lifecycle for aerospace systems, including defining objectives, translating requirements, and guiding architecture and risk management.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical, electrical, and program management teams to ensure system performance, cost, and schedule targets are met in a startup-style environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Aerospace/Systems/EE/ME/CE/Physics)
• 2+ years of experience with space-based communication payloads
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering and lifecycle processes
• Ability to translate customer requirements into engineering solutions

Mansioni

• Develop verification and validation strategies aligned with program requirements.
• Define verification configurations including hardware, software, and test environments.
• Maintain verification docs, matrices, and evidence packages.
• Collaborate with Integration & Test teams for system integration and verification.
