Job summary

OEM Logistics, LLC is seeking a Supplier Specialist who will partner with suppliers to meet customer requirements and manage delivery performance. The role requires experience in manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, defense, shipbuilding, or submarines.

Local travel is frequent to support supplier integration and on-time delivery. The candidate should have a strong background in supply chain management, production control, and shop floor oversight, with LR/Kaizen and Lean skills highly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; may substitute additional experience.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/shipping/manufacturing is valued.
• Strong supply chain and production control background.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with assigned suppliers and work to meet customer requirements.
• Manage Open Order Report with suppliers to minimize risk and improve delivery.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for delivery issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to prevent delays.
• Provide written updates on critical parts and delivery performance.
• Travel locally as required and perform other duties as needed.
