Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator in Mukilteo, WA to support daily supply chain operations, manage supplier records, and onboarding processes. The role emphasizes maintaining certifications (AS9100/ISO9001, NADCAP, CUI/CMMC) and communicating risks to production and development programs.

The successful candidate will handle vendor setup, manage supplier status on the Approved Supplier List, and contribute to contingency planning for critical hardware components.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or quality control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, quality standards, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintains supplier records and ASL certifications (AS9100/ISO9001, NADCAP, CUI/CMMC).
• Reports risks from upcoming certification expirations affecting production and development programs.
• Initiates new vendor setup through the approval process and manages supplier status on the ASL.
• Supports risk-mitigation by assessing the supply base and helping develop contingency plans.
