Job summary

Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers seeks a Supply Chain/Procurement Intern to participate in projects improving Planning, MPS, and SIOP processes. Responsibilities include documenting standard work, supporting deployment of MRP systems, and enhancing process tools for SIOP activities.

The program offers Summer 12-week internships starting in June with three virtual leadership sessions, plus year-round and co-op opportunities coordinated with universities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in a related supply chain field.
• Must have completed your sophomore year or later in your current program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Capable of working across engineering and manufacturing assignments.
• Keen interest in Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
• Team player with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and writing skills; attention to detail.
• Interested in continuous personal development and leadership opportunities.
• Local candidates only; relocation, sponsorship, or housing not available.
• Must be a US citizen due to security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Compile plant SIOP by consolidating data from Programs, MPS, and SC.
• Identify internal and external bottlenecks.
• Ensure plans are robust with what-if scenarios.
• Summarize assumptions and risks for stakeholders during SIOP reviews.
• Assist in creating tools to simplify MPS activities.
• Sequence work orders in line with MPS for specified products and production lines.
• Monitor manufacturing output daily against the schedule.
• Monitor stock cover daily to avoid stockouts or overstocks.
• Monitor raw material and component availability and escalate as needed.
• Communicate with Master Scheduler on potential issues and trigger preventive actions.
• Weekly track, challenge, and report Schedule Adherence with deviations.
• Ensure actual run-rates, batch quantities, and changeover times are updated in systems.
• All other duties as assigned by Manager.
