Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to drive audits, MRB activities, and supplier development in the aerospace sector. You will lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have extensive AS9100/ISO9001 experience, FAI knowledge, and a proven ability to manage supplier performance data, communicate with stakeholders, and lead improvement projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment.
• 5-8 years of FAI experience with AS9102 (FAI) standards at a quality engineering level.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, drawings and specifications.
• 5-8 years with ISO9001 and AS9100 QMS in production, quality and logistics.
• Knowledge of FAA, EAR, and ITAR standards and regulations.
• Experience leading customer audits and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; project management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess supplier processes via audits (AS9100, special processes, APQP, process and product audits).
• Lead/support MRB activities for non-conforming material and corrective actions.
• Conduct on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification.
• Promote Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, PFMEA for continuous improvement.
• Escalate unresolved supplier quality issues within projects and suppliers.
• Support suppliers in evaluating processes and implementing improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to solve process and product quality issues.
• Develop and maintain supplier performance reporting; report progress weekly/monthly.
• Undertake special projects; build relationships with stakeholders; ensure timely response.
