The Rundown AI, Inc. is looking for an Aerostructures Design Engineer to support the development of structural components for autonomous aircraft. This full-time position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and over 2 years of related experience.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing structural components, executing all design lifecycle stages, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong CAD skills and knowledge of aerospace standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in aircraft structural design or closely related aerospace structures.
• Experience designing and releasing structural components in development or production environments.
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stackups, and DFMA principles.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in fast‑paced, high‑ownership engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural components and assemblies for UAV platform.
• Execute all stages of the design lifecycle including CAD modeling and drawing release.
• Collaborate closely with aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and manufacturing teams.
• Support structural validation efforts including testing and verification.
