Tyonek is seeking a skilled welder for fusion welding on aerospace components according to WPS and engineering drawings. You will join a team supporting DoD aviation maintenance, fabricate weldments, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

The role requires reading complex drawings, managing weld records, and working with aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloys. Travel up to 25% may be required in support of field operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform fusion welding per WPS and specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, weld symbols, and quality requirements.
• Fabricate weldments from engineering drawings.
• Weld diverse materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
• Maintain weld records and travel up to 25% if required.
