Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer, specializing in Structural Testing, to join the Omen team at the Costa Mesa HQ. You will own structural test planning and execution for primary and secondary airframe structures, including fuselage, wings, nacelles, and control surfaces, in a lean, high-ownership culture with rapid development cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, Civil, or related engineering.
• 5+ years experience in structural testing of aerospace or automotive structures.
• Experience with composite materials testing including coupon, element, and full-scale tests per standards (e.g. ASTM).
• Experience developing load test setups including hydraulic actuators and fixtures.
• Familiarity with Ground Vibration Testing (GVT) and Structural Mode Interaction (SMI).
• Strong test engineering foundation: DAQ, instrumentation, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Own all structural test activities from materials characterization through component and assembly-level tests.
• Develop and execute right-sized structural test plans and coupon/tests including frequency response.
• Plan and execute structural proof load and ultimate load tests for primary structure.
• Coordinate with analysis to correlate FEA with test results and support model validation.
• Support nacelle loads, wing torsion, and aeroelastic interaction testing.
• Ensure safety of test environments and eliminate potential harm by design.
• Maintain configuration control of test articles and fixtures.
• Develop instrumentation plans for strain gauges, transducers, load cells, and DIC.
• Support airworthiness data packages with traceable test data.
