Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah invites a Summer 2027 Intern for Structures/Structural Design. This Collegiate Intern position supports designing aircraft structures, including composites, and assists across teams from initial concepts to certification.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Completion of sophomore year required before the internship start.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); listed on resume.
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Rotation requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).

Responsabilités

• Develop configurations and initial designs for structures.
• Design detail parts, assemblies and installations.
• Support aircraft programs from initial phase through product type certification.
• Sustain in-production aircraft, investigate fleet issues and customer requests.
• Collaborate with stress analysts, systems design engineers, test engineers, manufacturing engineers, production staff and regulatory agents.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and work across engineering disciplines.
