Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with RTCA DO-178C or equivalent safety-critical development process.
• Strong C programming for embedded systems and familiarity with PC-based tools.
• Experience testing on embedded target hardware with lab equipment.
• Knowledge of software verification, validation and lifecycle documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-254, FPGA development or VHDL preferred.
• Experience with Python or similar languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain software lifecycle documentation per RTCA DO-178C.
• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for microcontroller-based systems.
• Verify software and hardware functionality through laboratory testing with prototype and certified hardware.
• Support certification activities for avionics, power electronics, battery management, cockpits displays, and related aerospace products.
• Develop and execute test procedures to ensure regulatory, performance, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement safety-critical software design processes.
• Utilize modern tools and methodologies to support product quality and continuous improvement.
