Job summary

EVONA is seeking two Softgoods Technicians for our Space Coast site in Florida. This onsite, full-time role focuses on sewing large panels of technical textiles on industrial machines, with opportunities to work with fabric welders and heat sealers to achieve flight-quality seams.

You will collaborate with engineering to improve build processes and quality while maintaining aerospace-standard workspace discipline.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• 2+ years' hands-on professional sewing or fabrication on industrial machines.
• Ability to work to a drawing and hit a tolerance.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Sew large-scale softgoods assemblies on industrial machines to engineering drawings.
• Operate fabric welders and heat sealers for flight-quality seams.
• Perform hand sewing, finishing and detail work where machines can't reach.
• Handle, cut, pattern and prep large panels of technical textile without damage.
• Run the pattern sewing machine (training provided).
• Support spacecraft assembly and integration operations.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve build processes, repeatability and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace to aerospace standards.
